The Nevis Airport is located near Newcastle, on the northern end of the Island. Because of its proximity to the town, the Nevis Airport (NEV) is often referred to as the Newcastle Airport. Located outside of the capital, Charlestown, Nevis Airport has arrivals from intra-island-hopper flights. Arriving at Nevis Airport can only be done in this fashion, as there are no direct flights into Newcastle Airport. The simplest manner is which to reach Nevis Airport is through San Juan, St. Kitts, or Antigua. WinAir, LIAT, and American Eagle are three of the carriers that provide service into Nevis Airport. Nevis Express is an additional service that shuttles to St. Kitts seven times daily from Nevis Airport.

Though Nevis Airport is a good way to arrive, some travelers decide to take the ferry from St. Kitts. There are three separate companies operating routes that cost between $8 to $15 for a 45minute trip.
